I have FVD spec Pss9s. IMO they are the best setup for a mostly street car. Super supple for small suspension movements (much softer than factory) but then they get pretty stiff when you lean on it. They're pretty brilliant.

The wheels are champion RG5s 19x8 46mm and 19x11.5 44mm rear.

When I tried the 15mm spacers all around, the front tires would rub on the front inner liners and the rears looked Sooo close to the fenders but it looked sick! I may be able to go 7mm front 15mm rear with the rears rolled (that opens up about 10mm).

I'm so obsessed about something so trivial. But I guess that's the fun of tinkering.

KJM3 is infamous around these parts
Are you guys who are running 315/30-18 PS2 in the back and getting rubbing using a NON-stock 18" Turbo rim (and thus the rubbing is due to a different offset)?

Because I was under the impression that 315/30-18 PS2's fit on stock rims and had no problems at all with Rubbing! That is why I just ordered my 315/30-18 PS2's!

Thanks,
KJ

I just ordered 7mm fronts and 21mm rears for my car from RUF. If it rubs, I'll roll the fenders.

OK, I just got off the phone w/ Allen at Wheel Enhancement. He suggested I go w/ 5mm and had them in stock along w/ longer studs, so they'll be here Friday.

Is it OK to just use spacers on the rear and not the front?

Ari,

I called RUF and asked them what size they normally use on thier cars (thinking it would be something like 15mm R and 7mm F)...but Mark in parts told me it was anywhere from 21mm to 35mm R..and sometimes even as large as 53mm! But he said 7mm up front is the norm.

I'll let you guys know how it goes and will definitely post pics after install.

You realize that RUF uses spacers on wheels made for narrow body cars to fit turbos right? If you have wide body specific wheels I would be surprised if you can fit anything over 15mm.

15mm won't be enough for me, unfortunately. I have no problem rolling the fenders if need be.

I used to run 17mm factory spacers on my turbo S and I think, for that offset, it's the most aggresive you can get without rubbing. 21mm will probably rub on stock turbo offsets especially if you're also lowered.

I did 15mm front and rear on stock wheels and tires and had no rubbing. If you have factory offsets. 21mm are not out of the question in the rear if you roll.

Either way. Keep us posted!

11x18" ET25 with 295/30/18 PS2/Corsa/MPSC and FVD PSS9 on eurospec car (low) = No rubbing and looks so nice

With 18" you have less problems and easier to pick proper tires....
