On my last lapping day I got point bys from a 997S, 2 Elises and an M3.

Pretty much stock except for coilovers and Victoracers.

S2000 definitely lacks bottom end - but it's a really fun auto-x/track day toy.

maybe, maybe not... it's more simply that MOST porsche drivers can't. the ones who can are some of the best... but most are toolbags.

Roadsterdoc -

Thanks - but it's probably the other guys not really getting the most out of their cars.

I do have a lot of auto-x seat time and know my car pretty well. If you can keep the S2000 in it's powerband (6-9K) than it's really a decent car on the track.

It probably helps me in that I'd drive in a bit more restrained fashion if I had $50-80K worth of car at risk instead of 20k

One of the guys I lapped asked me if my car was F/I and I don't think he was super thrilled to learn it was n/a

Based on what I could see, looks like P didn't want H to be in the lead anymore. Came in too hot and hooked into H. H was holding his line. Regardless what you drive hot ******* into corners have their consequences.
By the way, personally know Lig and he can drive his S2K!
