Bumperettes And Clear Side Markers

I HAD A FEW QUESTIONS REGARDING MY NEW 04 TT CAB ON ORDER...

1. I saw bumperettes on the front of a turbo in the dealership which was really ugly. do these come on all new turbos, or was it just for older model turbos?

2. are the bumperettes in the back of the car always black or do they come painted like they are on the normal carreras?

3. are the sidemarkers amber, or do they come clear?

i wanted to know these things so i could be prepared and have the necessary items when im picking up the car.

1. bumperettes only came on early 01s and there was an option code to delete them (I had an early 01 delivered in Nov. 2000 with no bumperettes). Later cars dont have them so no worries.
2. On the widebody 996s the bumperettes are unfortunatley black!! I painted mine though
3. Sidemarkers come amber but are a 2 minute job to replace. There is a thread here somewhere with these on sale at 24.95 a pair

3. stock is amber. Suncoast Porsche sells the clears for ~$25. the literally snap out and take 2 minutes to change.

enjoy your new car
