Tip to Manual Conversion

Is this even possible? How much would it cost? A friend was inquiring about this, but I obviously, lacked the technical know-how and knowledge to give him any useful response. Any pro here willing to take a few minutes to chime in?

TIA!

It was covered a few months ago in the tech section of Excellence Magazine in detail. The net of it was that it was (1) a lot of work and (2) very expensive. They recommended that the reader (who had a tip TT) sell his car and buy a manual.

Yes, it can be done. I have mapped out the process for a few memebers here. The cost is not cheap.
