FVD vs Fabspeed exhaust on a tip car
SubscribeHi all,
I know exhaust is a topic that has been beaten to death, but I have a specific question that seems not to be answered by any of the existing threads.
Basically based on my budget, I am considering the following 2 exhaust on my 2003 996 TT tip:
- FVD (100 cell cat) (on sale for ~USD3000!)
- Fabspeed sport
This car is my daily driver and I am just looking for a) no drone and b) a sportier tone than stock. Some extra hp would also be nice but I won't go crazy for the horseys.
Guess the main question is, which exhaust is guaranteed not to drone on a tip car? (I know EP quiet is one but it is out of my budget) Which of the 2 is better, or does anyone got some suggestions?
Thanks and cheers
Ron

The EP sounds great. The Miltek I have on my car is also a very nice sound for a good price.
Thanks for your comments. I will definitely take a look at Miltek. Originally Posted by Gunther

Is it true that the latest (3rd gen?) Fabspeed has fixed the droning?
Also, any experience with FVD?
Cheers
Ron
