i bought a blk/blk 2001 with 3900 miles 2 months ago for 85 and some change, 01/01 build so hollow spokes and no bumperettes. Gauging by that, i'd say yours should be had for about 82.

You know, your deal on this one is not that bad, especially if you like this particular car and whatever options it has. The market for Turbo's is firming up since very few 04 Coupes are being built. If the car's in top condition, has warranty left, has had the 15,000 service done and has no stories (wrecks, repaint, clean pre-purchase inspection by a dealer) you might drive yourself crazy finding another for less money or lower miles. For such a car, your counter offer of $85 + - is decent money. We can all say, this guy got $85 for fewer miles and that's great. But I promise you $2K one way or the other is insignificant. Geez, that's about the price of a set of tires, brake pads and an oil change. Big deal.

I wouldn't get too hung up on the 15,000 miles--that's just about the time the engine really starts to settle in. And shoot, that's still low (my May 01 production has 26K miles--10k of which was put on in the first four months).

Just take your time, I've contact all the turbo seller. 99% of them still have the car, cuz they couldn't find a serious buyer. If they really wants to sell the car they'll go down the price. A guy in Northern CA got a 2001 seal gray turbo with 7K miles asking for $95K and I offer him $85K and he reply me said the dealer will give him for $90K, there is no way he'll sell this car for under $90K and I told him be realistic. I thinks for $85K you can find a good turbo with low mileage. Just like lee2375.
Good Luck!
P.S. I'm also looking for a 996 turbo too!!!

Ok, should I keep pursuing the white 01 with 14k miles, or I have a real good deal on a yellow/black with 10k miles. Let me know what you guys think. The guy with the white is really getting on my nerves, so i think im going to go with the yellow. Do you guys know if the 01 yellow has changes from the 02 03 or 04 yellow? Thanks.
