Craig, can you find out if the rumor of 109 unleaded containing some nitro is true?

I ran VP Import all last summer in my Supra, it was like owning a frickin boat, just a bit faster

Also i found out the Torco 118 evap points.

10% 168
90% 208
End point 236

And this fuel has a Pump Octane(R+M)/2 of 118.

hasn't this always been the case? never run more octane than what you need? higher octane = slower burning - that's why it's less likely to detonate.

it is interesting to hear about the cooling additives in the C12...

I have not used the Trick 101 in a few years. It is a great option for people living in the SFV . . . much better than other pump options. I subsequently switched to Sunoco GT 104.

I am well aware . . . that's why I used the Sunoco GT104 instead . . . 1 point less octane and much less money.

That is a slow burning fuel.

Craig,

Can you please ask Jay or your distributor if C25 would work for our applications? It has higher octane and faster burn rates than C12 does:

Specification Sheet: C25
Specific Gravity: .692 @ 60°F
Leaded: Yes
Color: Yellow
Motor Octane: 113.0
RVP: 9.66
Oxidation Stability (min.) 1440+
Distillation:
10% evap @ 120.8°F
50% evap @ 162.5°F
90% evap @ 207.2°F
E.P. @ 231.6°F
Availability: Sealed Drums

Also, IRT Sunoco 112...it ain't all that. Burn rates are much slower than C12:

Sunoco Supreme Leaded
Antiknock Index (R+M)/2 112

10% Evaporation - 170
50% Evaporation - 219
90% Evaporation - 232
