Bro your car would look like a flying sacuer with all those transponders on it. The M40 and M20 are the same thing, the M40 only comes with 4 sensors instead of two on the M20, you would then have 6 sensors mounted to the outside of your car. Not a good idea, just get the M40 and be done with it. you will also need a radar detector because the M series doesnt do that.

The Blinder will work well enough on your car. The M40 has 4 LED heads, the M20 only come w/ 2. Most jurisdictions don't shoot you in the rear, so placing units in the front will probably suffice.

Because our beloved cars come w/ such a small signature giving less reflection back for a reading to begin w/, two heads in front will work. However, keep in mind the LED technology that Blinder uses is old. The newest technology uses diodes. In my non-physicist, lay language they essentially are able to turn on, blink on and off many times faster than that of LED's. Bottom line, the diodes work far better.

I've tested the M40 personally against a Stalker w/ my other car and the lase was able to get a punch through even over 2000 ft. Whereas the LaserParkPro JTG, giving an E04 reading all the way through.

I've got a Bel system on my 911. That uses LED technology, siimilar to that of Blinder and it works fine. Saved me many times.

LED = Light emitting diode

Maybe an improved diode but a diode none the less.

Not sure but i'd like to know as well. I heard some of the new speed guns can detect if you have a jammer... something else to think about...

Has anybody installed this product themselves yet? How hard is the install?

It took my installer 1.5 hours to install and he said it was easy. I didn't do it myself nor would I try.

The Blinder isn't so great, the recommendations of a few other people here were right on. Laser Park Pro or Laser Interceptor. I personally have the AntiLaser G8. ALL of them are better than the Blinder. And if you buy the Blinder anyway, you have been persuaded by advertising and NOT facts.

it's only marketed as a parking aid because of legal issues. It's definitely not primarily used for parking. Mine's on its way.
