Sample of Scargo Roll Bar
You are incorrect.
The Tequipment bars and cages are FIA-approved and have been crash tested by the Factory, otherwise they would not be included in the Clubsport models.
The cage that I am looking at has been crash tested at 200mph in a 993. So I know it is of good design and construction quality.

Sharkster, it was probably the same car. Mark Robles, is S Car Go's fabricator. His work is impecable.

Tyson,
I take that back, yet I don't know details of car damage. I believe Rob King was driving in the Silver State in 1992. He blew a tire at 192 mph.
Anything Mark Robles builds will survive. I was a ASME Ouality Control Manager at one time. The welds I have seen are full penetration without flaws. If the bars Porsche sells are good, then the Scargo bars are better.
Both quality of material and workmanship.
They are just like the headers Robles builds. The welds are flawless, they use better stainless (421 SS, not 304 or 316) and they use a thicker grade materials (16 gauge, not 18 or 20 gauge).

John,
Whatever Ruf-Racer recommends. If anyone is a safety guru, it's him. The cage that I am looking at is from Carl's Place in Las Vegas. Watt just got a 993 Turbo outfitted with a full cage from him as well.
I will also ask Ruf-Racer what he thinks of S-Car-Go's work if indeed Rob did drive in the Silver State Classic.
I know Carl's stuff works. I'll leave it at that.
I frankly could care less about the cage being wrapped in leather, that's a simple upholstery job.
Hey Chad, is there anything that S-Car-Go DOESN'T do better than everyone else? Just wondering.

Tyson, sounds like it's becoming a little personel? S Car Go makes very good products. The best.....I didn't say that. I know nothing about the other product you are talking about.I haven't seen their work. Don't even have the pic of his work. Since I haven't seen the work, I don't have an opinion. That doesn't mean it is bad or good. I have seen Scargo's work. It is great work and I do have a professional background in welding, so I am somewhat qualified to make a comment. Why because I make a good comment about Scargo do you believe I am degrading another product or saying Scargo is the best? To put it in perspective, because I am a 49er fan does that mean they do it better than everyone else?

Chad, it's nothing personal. I like you as a person a lot and I have exchanged valuable info with you over the last year.
However, sometimes I feel that you are just shamelessly promoting S-Car-Go. I have nothing bad to say about those guys, as they are all really nice guys. I will email you about the rest.
John, I am planning on getting a fully welded, full rollcage as part of my "open road racing" package.
