quick k24 question
K24s are going on today and then i have to drive to go get the K24 map.
is it ok to drive the car on the k16 file for about a day? is there certain rpms i should not exceed? i dont want to break anything...

OK to drive, dont beat on it,
get the correct program in asap.
According to most turbo manufacturers there is not much break-in,
if you read Kevin's ZC turbo break in it is a novel and my tech laughed out
loud at me...then I made him do it.

OK to run on the old map...as Marty says the tuners (and in Kevin's case) the builders do recommend a break-in:
What I'd like is 0-50 no boost. No 1/4 mile drag launches.. No dyno runs, (until broken in) No hot shut downs...ever.
50-100 miles normal driving boost levels, 0-.5 bar... 100-200 miles cruise mode, normal driving, throttle in and modulate the boost.. After 200 miles, watch you radar detector (smile).. No long trips...heat cycles are good >15 if possible.

hey Drew,
like others have said....its perfectly fine to drive on the K16 map/software till you get out to Moss. What time are you picking the car up? I am like 5 min. from Montclair.....could swing by and check it out. PM me your cell or something
