I was getting about 18mpg until I installed bumper plugs. As promised by I got 20mpg. The window tint guy promises another 2mpg improvement. Installing an MP3 player is also worth 3mpg (hence the name MP3).

When I purchased the car the previous owner was getting 20 MPG. I couldn't believe it. I reset the computer after each tank and haven't seen anything above 16 since.

Was that all planned out or did the MP3 just come to you at the end. Very funny

22-23 on the highway with cruise control set at 70. 7 at the track and overall average of 17-18 with the split being 75/25 highway to local. Not bad considering...mine is reflashed with exhaust.

I get about 18mpg. I forget how big the tank is, there are rumors that the RHD cars have an even smaller tank. Even on super-empty the most I've gotten in it is 50 liters, but I'm filling it about every 220mi.

22 mpg on highway, but overall in 13,000 miles since august 2000,
I have averaged 8 (yes, eight) MPG! Fun factor at about 99%.

28mpg on the highway at 75 mph. This is in 5th gear. For some reason I get better mileage than using 6th at this speed. Single digit on the track. About 15 around town.

So I am right about average I guess. As gas prices increase it just feels like my mpg is decreasing.

Those who have flashed their ecu's seem to get better mileage. Any truth to that?

6 to 7 at the track.......14 to 18 or so around town. I have seen close to 25 on highway runs.

Altered ECU and exhaust etc.

I've always thought it did fairly well on gas mileage considering that my Infiniti FX35 SUV only got around 16-17 in town and 20 or so open road.

My TT is just has gas thirsty as my Range Rover. On top of that, 1qt Mobil 1 every 800-1000 miles. Small price to pay though.
