on the way home, it was at 27.6 mpg

my 4 cyl audi turbo got about 27mpg on the highway
how does a 911 turbo get 29 lol
took it out again today to meet up with a friend.... 27 ... all highway.. 15 minute ride...
this is awesome..
first i pay cheaper insurance for my porsche than my audi, and now i get better mpg than my audi

hopefully i'll get less bent wheels and tickets with the porsche

WOW! 6th gear for 45 minutes @ 60 mph. The fact that you were able to pull this off is 10X more amazing than the mileage. I nominate you for the 6Speed "Most Will Power of the Year Award"!

How did you do it? I'm guessing you had a couple of drinks and were trying to get home without drawing any attention to yourself!

Steve, I was just kidding about the drinking thing. Serious will power though. Especially seeing as it was your first night with the car.

to be honest... i drove the car from new jersey , which is where the shipper dropped it off too, and i was having a little fun...
.... i gunned it, got to about 130-140 and the car was ALL OVER THE ROAD
i mean... at 70 mph, i gunned it in 3rd, the car got loose and i could barely keep it in a lane

gonna get a PROPER 4+ hour alignment at RPM racing tomorrow morning...
