Autoscope in Plano?

I'm looking to get my new coilovers installed and was curious if anyone in the DFW area has ever taken their car to Autoscope in Plano? They do *awesome* work on BMWs, including setting up various race cars, club racers, etc. They also do awesome alignment stuff, corner balancing, etc. and supposedly they work on Porsches too so I was thinking of heading over there. Just curious if anyone has any Porsche experience with them...

nope....they might be great but I wouldn't let anyone touch my Porsche except the guys at Boardwalk....if you go there talk to Hans, let him know I referred you and he will take great care....was in there today for my 15K service, may install new sway bars, and he sent me somewhere else to get them cheaper and delivered to him for install....which is ony a small example of their great service in my experience....

Interesting there was also a new Ruf R-GT in there for service....beautiful car....as much as I love the CGT for $250K less I think the Rturbo is almost as much car but more driveable...don't mean to hijack the thread...

Not much to hijack so don't worry about that. =)

But thanks for the reply. You aren't the first person to recommend Boardwalk so maybe I should just listen up and give them a try. It's just so foreign to me to take a car to the dealer for mods...

What sway bars are you looking at?

Not sure if this is the same place over by the railroad tracks by putt putt golf almost???

I remember seeing an ad in a local Porsche magazine about how they can give the TwinTurbo some big power with their new programming ... apparently they had just picked up a distributer? anywho ... I went over there (1.5 year ago) and when I pulled up three people literally came out of the back and gawked at my car ... I proceeded to ask about the chip and other upgrades and got un-informative answers ... then I asked more questions and to my surprise they'd never done or worked on a turbo before only boxsters?? I left in a hurry so they could gawk at the speed of my turbo departing ...
