do you care about ride quality? because it will degrade if you go with springs only. best thing is to get springs + corrosponding shocks or a coilover system.

Go with coilovers for handling as Kayman says.

you will regret with just spring upgrade. Do it right at once and save your time and money. Go coilover!

I agree with Ray, do it right the first time. I have JIC Cross coilovers and love them. Not harsh at all, but the car feels much, much better than stock. Oh...looks sweet as well. you can adjust the height to whatever you want

If you dont plan on tracking the car, go with the PSS9's still maintain a good street ride quality, improve handling over stock and will lower your car handsomely.

I really dont want to degrade the ride. Sounds like coilover is the way to go.... How is the ride using coilover? What is the better brand to buy?

While we're on the subject, let me ask: Why are PSS9s not recommended for the track? Everyone seems to love them for just about everything else...

I'd guess that most people want a firmer suspension on the track.

Don't just buy a spring set without matching shocks. They don't control rebound. You'll be bouncing up and down like a 65 Impala lowrider. Using PSS9 seems to be overkill for the street and unkill for the track. If you're not taking your car to the track, why do you need a adjustable coil over system. You'll just set it at one ride height and never change it. The OEM M030 and X73 are designed for the car. Basically plug and play. Unless you have an oversized wheel and tire combo, the factory systems will work fine. Every aftermarket spring/shock combo I tried was noisy.

How much lower is the car with X73 compare to non-X73 (OEM M030)?

X73 is about 40mm lower in the front and 25-30 lower in the back (than stock U.S. OE).
ROW # for same are 20 lower front and 10 rear.
