KW Coilovers?

Any suspension gurus out there know if KW Coilovers are worthy to be installed on the 996TT?

100% better than PSS9s if you want more performance for track or a better lowered look. With suspension, you get what you pay for, the more money the better they are!

It's a duel between JICs and KWs right now.
I've had friend that had the JICs on 993s installed, only to say that he's had problems with the kit (klunking noises, the installer is an experienced shop and JIC customer service was terrible). Though, I did take a ride in a 996TT with JICs and it seemed very nice.
Haven't heard anything about KWs though, so I'm hoping a few more ppl chime in or if I get lucky with the search

Thx

KW's are quality. Get them if you are going to be tracking the car and just in general.

Keep posted to this thread. I'm giving JIC a few more days before I post up my review of them as a company. Thats all I am going to say for now. It is encumbant upon them (JIC) to step up to the plate NOW or they will have a PR nightmare to deal with. I have been patient enough.

This message is identical to my situation.

I have had KW's for several years and they are great. Many race teams in Europe use them.

I have had KW V3's for 6 months and they really improved the ride & handling. Quality seems very high - no problems.

Just found some old posts where ppl mention that JICs make all sorts of noises and that is the norm? Coupled with how my friend is being treated by JIC and potentially some others on the board, I think I'm going to go with the KWs. Always nice to have something different I'll post a write up when I get them in.

To me Bilsteins are great for all around comfort, if you want just that more performance and stiffness go with the KWs. I have had mine for 6k miles and I have no regrets, been in a car with Bilsteins, just didnt like it cause it was soft for my taste.

What settings are you guys using on the KW V3s? Trying to get things dialed in for the streets around here where it's not bone stiff...

I would go with the KW Variants. I have only good things to say about it.

I've heard about both good and bad feeback on this setup ,best bet will be riding in one and justify yourself.

I have Cross (JIC) and they are superb. NEVER any noise (unlike my previous H&R's), ride great, handle great, etc.

I have KW V3's on my S4 and love them. A bit stiff but nothing unlivable... I also run JIC's on my 996TT and like them too. I think you can't go wrong with either suspension IMHO....

Suman is running JIC suspension on his 996TT, and with 700awhp, lets just say I have a whole lot of confidence in that suspension with the stuff he and I have done.
