My car is whacked. Just got it back and it is worse. ABS and PSM came on again. Brake lights are out.

I can remove my car and my car remains running if the head lights are on. I can then switch my head lights off and it turns my car off.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a wiring fault or a bad Headlight switch. Something is feeding +12v constant power back into the +12v ign lines and keeping things powered even though you've removed the ignition power. I'd check for any work recently done as well as checking around to see if the ignition or headlight switches fail in this manner. I have not heard of this on any Porsche ignitions, but stranger things have happened. Like I said, my bet is on a wiring issue or rogue headlight switch. Just my 2 cents.....

I had a CEL, ABS and PSM light. The dealer just replaced an O2 sensor as my old one had a frayed wire and replaced a brake switch saying I was getting a brake light failure code. I got it back today and everything is going heywire.

S****** - I had the same thing on a car many years ago.

My rear side light had gone out, so I swapped the bulb with the brake light. When I got home the engine kept running even with the ignition key out. Somehow or other the bulb had connected the ignition system direct to the battery. When I took the bulb out, the engine stopped.

Doug, don't you have a crazy sound system in your car? Maybe they disconnected your battery and messed up your power leads when they worked on your car? Just a thought. I had some taillight issues when the battery died in my car and I replaced the battery. The car threw 7 pages of fault codes and once everything was reset at the dealership, it all went away.
