Not Able to Fuel the Car !!!!!!!! SAND!!!!!
Not Able to Fuel the Car !!!!!!!! SAND!!!!!
I went to 5 different gas stations and every time I tried to put fuel in the car, the fuel would splash back like if it was full, when I knew it was empty all the way !!!!!. The car was towed to the dealer and they found that some filters inside the gas tank were clogged with SAND !!!!! They called Porsche America and they said that eventhough my car is still under warranty, I had to pay for half the cost of the repair- $ 325.00 dollars(My Part).
How in the world YOU GET SAND INSIDE THE GAS TANK???
Thanks

Someone doesnt like you, putting sand in a gas tank is a good way to ruin someones motor/fuel lines, etc. Its an old trick that some *******s use to basically ruin your car. The answer is sand doesnt get in there unless someone puts it in there.

i remember shell having issues awhile back....
sucks, nonetheless..
that sucks, but i'd hold off on the locking gas cap, unless your dealer offers one. Of all the cars that i've had come in w/ evap codes 99% have been due to ****ty locking gas caps. GL with sorting this out though

I don't know about this one... It is not possible to open the gas flap when the car is locked...unless your flap is not working correctly. I had a Targa that had a malfunctioning flap lock...so it is possible.

Wross is correct, your dealer is full of ****.
Several of us have had this problem and it was a fuse.
I took a aluminum pole (driveway marker from hardware store) and pushed
it down the fuel neck far enough to open that secondary valve flap do-hinky.
