porsche dealer can install them for u...
i don't know exactly how do they function, someone here will explain it ^____^

they don't do anything to the warranty... it's in fact better than the stock plastic unit... which u'll find a lot of trouble with...
a common fact is that u'll hear whistle sound from the engine bay around 2-3000rpm from the factory plastic unit...

I dont see why the dealership can't. But do it yourself...It should take no longer than an hour with hand tools.

If you are flashy, what about stainless door entry sills with "turbo" illuminated. The dealers sell them for cayenne but I think the 996 turbo is still aftermarket supplier. Did anyone mention the K&N air filter with the exhaust. It is a cheap item for better breathing. Also, the halon stainless fire extinguisher with that beautiful aluminum mount on the floorboard a thread or two ago. I would also get some type of clear bra and headlight protectors. 3M makes a precut thick clear self adhesive protector for those expensive headlights--it is a 3 minute install for a lot of piece of mind. Griott's has them I think.

You certainly don't want to be without a SILVER hood badge on that beautiful blue car.

Agreed! and I'd also go with speedlingerie, for longer trips, etc. over the 3M film (which I have currently) as it is very visible on dark color cars
