Items To Order Before Car Comes

ok well the car is ordered and now im just waiting for it. by the way i decided on the cobalt blue 996tt cab with all the fixins. comes in 6 months because of cobalt blue option. could have had it in 3 with midnight blue.

i was wondering what are some of the items i should buy befor the car gets here so that when i leave the showroom i can have some of my mods already done.

the mods i was already thinking of was

1. B & M Shortshifter

2. Bumper Plugs and Bumperettes

3. Clear Side Markers

4. Aluminum Trim Rings

5. Aluminum Pedals

anything else i'm missing? I cant beleive im already like this and i havent even bought the car ... i feel the porshe bug biting already ... i better open up that special bank account for modifications only

TechArt sport exhaust works well with the tt cab. No noticeable resonance but great sound at full throttle. Good luck with the new car....color should by awsome.

when it comes to exhaust i want to wait until a porsce drive so i can hear all the different ones from people in the furum and decide then ... but thank you for your suggestion

by the way 3 more items im buying are the techart II front bumper, and side skirts. im also thinking about the gt2 wing, but i dont know if it will interfere with the soft top mechanism

Congrats on the car and FYI, the GT2 or Tech Art wings work fine with the cab and do not get in the way at all.

Zerb, whooa, you have answered all of the trick questions correctly. No warranty mods yet (get to know your dealer well). Listen to the exhausts first. You are wise beyond your years. I would add door plug for the drivers side key lock and center console plug the color of the center console and garage door opener from sharkworks that uses the dash switch (dummy) that is currrently not being used and it looks like a rear defroster switch. But, with the cab, don't do too much with the aesthetics yet. Remember, you already have 3 looks for this car: top up, top down, hard top. Now you better get that bank account going. Oh, and if you do get any kind of aftermarket nose, it will likely be in fiberglass and you shouldn't even drive it one time without a clear bra or similar 3-M product b/c of the chips that will immediately show primer or white fiberglass.

i got the full aluminum package for the interior, and nothing on the car is carbon fiber ... i think i would want to go with the original porsche gt2 wing and paint it cobalt blue.

if i had a black car i would definatly go with the cf wing ... must look amazing on your car
