Hey guys I need help with some of the instrument lights that just went on in my car. Her is the situation that caused the lights to go on.

I was crusing in my ride and came up on a Supra who thought his car was fast. He started to bait me and well what the hell, he took off at I passed him at 100. I took the car up to 125 and then had to break hard when I came up on other cars, btw left him in the dust . Then I take a look down and I saw that the PSM and ABS lights are on. I drove home turned the car off and read the manual. I started the car up again and the lights did not come back on.

What was the cause of this and is this a serious issue? I would appreciate all the feedback you guys can give me.

i would say not happened to me once.. every cell on the dash started flashing wildly.... scared as hell an in nowhere nev. at a gas station, i turned the car off and restarted it all was fine. and still is that was two years ago... i might mention i had a kill switch which turns the ecu off. good luck steve

 

Get the codes read...or we can play sea of a thousand guesses...MAF most likely.

 

prolly just came on under real hard breaking, sense that the car was slipping

 

This same thing was reported by another member several month ago while on the track - again after hard braking. Sorry I can't remember more.
