Question Help with installing evo shiftlink

For those who have installed the Evo replacement shiftlink, how hard was it to install it? I just dropped off my car at the dealership for the B&M short shift kit and Evo shiftlink install. My head tech had no problems installing the B&M, however he and another tech did not feel comfortable putting in the shiftlink as they felt it wouldnt fit well?

Anyone else run into this problem as well? Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Ryan

I installed both units in my car last week and it was a piece of cake. I can't think of why they had a problem with the evo piece, it just replaces the stock piece and you tighten down the 2 little allen screws.

I installed the shiftlink and the B&M SSK at the same time. The dealership probably did not know how to adjust it. I adjusted it to the same approximate length as the plastic connector I removed. I then installed the link in place of the original connector, insert cable, tighten allen screws, and viola'... They will need to mark where the shift cable goes into the plastic connector.
