kris had an k&n my maf went away cleaned it with elec cleanet and got apaper filter (no oil)fropm ev all is fine the elec cleaner 2bucks the performance priceless

Then you did not blow your MAF...you can not resurrect a blown MAF regardless of the miracle juice you throw on it. Sorry.

I've blown 5 or 6. All a result of turbulance IMO. Never blown 1 with OEM intake / K&N combo.
BTW, you should be able to get a MAF in Canada for about C$300.

Looks like that is the wrong MAF for our cars. Try www.europartsdirect.com for Porsche #:996 606 124 00 / Bosch #: 0 280 218 009

Uh I think you may be mistaken here (see my post in the other thread). That part number is the old MAF,
