Order Status

I ordered a 996tt coupe in Jan. My first new turbo in almost 10 years. Short of bugging my dealer every week , is there a way to check the status online myself?

Depends on Month of Allocation

What month did your dealer tell you it had an allocation? If it was a March build, your dealer should have received an estimated completion date - at the factory and than you have to factor in transportation, customs, prep.

I have an April build and my dealer has not heard anything yet about the completion date - it is starting to drive me a little crazy.

In Jan they told me I had a Feb build. In Feb they told me I had a March build. I don't think they are jerking me around,Just poor system. They claim that the only way they can tell is when status changes on a report they run. Someone said that anticipation was the best part... were they right?

Robert:

I have an April build (this is when they started making tt's again so your dealer was lying Bob). They have a program they run from Porsche that shows the committed slot and they should now have build completion dates. My car will be done around April 23
.

Thanks for the feedback I had a sense that I was being stonewalled. I'll call them today

You were right on the mark. I talked to my dealer April 23 build , with delivery 5 weeks later. I'm not sure I can take the wait

Welcome to the club, Misery loves company. And I have a DE event mid May that I am now going to have to thrash my E55 around (the Lambo has been retired). And I have $20k in parts laying a round waiting.
