octane question

so i have decided to start running the GIAC 93 octane file for my k24s instead of the regular 91 flash.

how many gallons of 100 do i need to add to my tank to make it 93 overall?

Your 6th grade son is not available to calculate this for you? The hard one for me is how much water you add to a gallon of pure antifreeze in order to get a 50/50/ 2 gallon mix.

You're killing me....

About 5 gallons will do it. Here is the math:

assuming 17 gallons (to make it simple) total tank capacity.

5 gallons @ 100 octane = 500

12 gallons @ 91 octane = 1092

1092 + 500 = 1592 divided by 17 gallons == 93.64 octane

Can't you get 93 where you live? The BP next to my house has 93 and that's all I use.
