Advice needed... Techart II bumper replicas??

I hairline cracked my front splitter while parking about 6 months ago. Today, while trying to get close to the curb, I hit the front splitter again and massacred it, split in half had to take it off and put it in the back seat. So, instead of getting a splitter again, I figure to go with a new front bumper. I've been actually waiting for the chance

Question?!?! I don't want to pay Techart prices, but I want the Techart II bumper. I see stuff from VividRacing, Precision Porsche, Misha, and some others regarding the Techart II replicas. Does anyone have a recommendation that they could give me? Are they just as sturdy as the original stuff. I'm price conscious, so I'm hoping to get the best deal regarding price and fitment.

Thanks in advance,

Bojan

To be honest there is a great deal of variation in replica front bumpers...you could get lucky, or not. Regardless it will take a good body/paint shop to complete the deal...pay now or pay later to some extent...even TechArt will require some work.

I figured they all will require a knowledgeable body shop to make it look perfect. But with the price being a 1/3 of the original, it makes it far more appealing. Regarding the shops I listed, anyone to confirm who has the better price and product. Or are they all similar, in terms of buying from the same builder. Or does each shop have its own custom fabricator for bumpers? If someone representing these bumpers could chime in, please send me a pm.

That does look great. I think I'll make the move. It seems to me that if you were to buy the replica or original, it doesn't necessarily matter. Its the shop you choose to prep and paint, that makes all the difference in the world.

Mine took a bit to prep, but fit was great besides for messing with the internal ducting.. Overall it needs good prepping before paint and some time fitting, but the quality is damn good and looks great afterwards. When I was looking for original some guys sold their original bumpers for replicas, and said they fit even better, who knows!
