There seem to be several guys running 600to 700 crank hp and more without problems. I think it will handle at least what the stock block and rods will handle which is about 600 or so at the wheels. Sharkey or Craig have run way more power than this and may be of more help.

It is unclear how much power the stock Tip will handle. I know of several failures at different power levels. I sent my Tip to 9ff in Germany and had them rebuild and reinforce it (the retail cost of this exceeds $10,000).
FWIW, I may be selling my tranny. Let me know if you are interested.

Craig, it seems like your pushing a great amount of power. Is there a way around the 7k redline? No one's been able to crack the tranny ECU to take it up higher? Im sure the gt30's have more up in the higher rpms.
