not sure how much they go for but it did not seem fast at all. i thought it would have fared better with 470HP.

 

470 american hp. I smoked one of those STS-V's with the supercharged northstar - 475 when I was bone stock. I know those are heavy and I am sure the convertible stangers are pretty chunky too.

I would think that the Saleen could be made much faster for a reasonable amount of money, however.

Nice kill, people always say why don't you race something faster? Where I live it is slim pickings so you take what you can get. This morning a guy in an 80's Trans Am came blasting up beside me but the freeway was full of morning commuters. I would have loved to show him how fast the tt was, but no chance.

 

Raced an S281 SC hard top in my old M car (s54 motor) and he could not pull away even with his quoted '100 or so more hp'

 

Just got back in from totally destroying an '86 Buick Skylark. Wasn't even a match for the Pcar. I'm going to take a shower then head over to the local middle school and kick a couple of 7th graders ***.
