Also IHI is the factory supercharger for Mercedes 55 AMG cars and the turbo supplier for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

Also they they make hella nice waste gates. HKS that is... I wonder how long it will be before we see 996TTs with big *** external waste gates as opposed to the integrated ones currently

Are you sure about the Cayenne, it's very surprising that a German company wouldn't go with K series turbos.

I'm not as familiar with Jap cars as I am with Euro cars but the Supra for example comes with a stock turbo. Do you mean that Toyota actually manfactures there own turbos for there cars?

I also know the old Mitsu Eclipses came with turbos. I'm guessing Mitsubishi built those turbos as well.

Uhhhh... I guess you didn't look under my car Sharky... I had two very large TIAL external wastegates. Much better and boost was way more consistent than the integrated ones.
