I am curious as to how the whole transaction came about. First, you bought the Supra...I imagine that after you got it you realized 'this thing is absolutely insane as a daily driver," yes? W/ C-16 it probably cost about 2-300 dollars everytime you took it out (factoring in the 40 hour motor).

I heard that Jamie spent nearly 40K at proto getting to car where it is at now, plus the 110 or so for the original car. May I ask if you spent what I think you did (150K)?

If you are wondering why I am taking such an interest in this car, it is because it is very similar to my car, except my car has the stock fuel system. Your car has the full proto 700 package, which includes the dual 044 fuel pumps. modified Hitachi MAF, and upgraded injecters.

My concern about going for the extra 100 whp is that it would exceed the capabilities of my bottom end (rods).

Kid GT2 is infamous around these parts
Hey, as for the transaction. I have known Jamie for quite some time and actually tried to buy his Supra off him originally but was too late. He sold it to his friend in AZ. His friend soon listed the car for sale again at which point I jumped on the opportunity. Then when Jamie came to town for racing I saw the GT2 and fell in love. And the next weekend he brought it back down for the trade.

As for the Supra I was in wayyy over my head. Don't get me wrong I love the Supra, and I would have kept it if I could, but just not praticel. Although I do plan on getting another low mileage, high HP, high end Supra before the Years end to go along with the GT2, (maybe even the same one if the opportunity presents itself). As for the gas I wish it was c16. It actually ran on VP Import, which runs about $1200 for a 54 gallon drum. The upkeep was just crazy on the car, and it coast to much to run. But now that I know what to expect I would like to get into another one soon!

What power is your car making to the tire right now? My car is fine at its current power level (Knock on wood)

Congratulations, you ended up with a great car. I still miss it.
I think the F110s look better on that car.

Jaimie's car was a gorgeous car in person, though I really like the Kinesis (I think thats what they were, the silver ones). The HRE's do look really good also. You got yourself a bad *** ride there!
