Mike has not advertised the car, but he has indicated he would sell it to buy a more modern faster 911, maybe a 993 turbo. The car would have to bring $60-65k. I'd buy it , if I could, and keep it here. It's also a rare experience to drive a 'new' '73 'S. Here is the interior with black leather Recaros.

Although I just joined this board as a member, I've read posts for quite a long time. I have known Sol Snyderman for more than 10 years. Sol did my 91 turbo Ruf conversion about 10 years ago when he was the Ruf dealer in the Chicago area. He did a GREAT job on that car and,as such, I will probably never sell it - I love it all these years later. From then on, Sol became a very good friend of mine; he's a guy you can trust and his work is beyond compare. My relationship with him is so strong that even though I live in Kansas I consistently send my cars to him in Chicago for work. He's doing a full suspension and other improvements to my '02 X50. I just wanted to add my "two cents worth" to this discussion. Bottom line: Sol Snyderman and Perfect Power are the real thing and his skills are simply the best.

Re: Thanks

Welcome to 6speedonline, Sol!

This is Stephen... I had spoken to you about corner-balancing my 996T. I'm currently catching waves in Hawaii right now, but as soon as I get back, and grease up the elbows to swap in the softer springs for my coilovers, I'll be buzzing you to get that alignment and corner-balancing done.

We've got a great bunch of guys here, and your knowledge base and experience will only make this forum that much more informative. Hopefully, I'll be your first customer since Perfectpower becoming a sponsor!

Congrats,
Stephen

Those are kind words. I'll try to get pics of Mike's fabulous '73 S on the site tomorrow, maybe with other cool projects we've got going on at Perfect Power.
James, I'll check your other post now, if my son will wait to play catch for a few more minutes.

Thanks Bucking,
Now I'm blushing like a schoolgirl!
Aloha Stephen,
It's a bit too late to be the first new customer since I became a sponsor here. There are some pretty quick movers here on 6SO!
I look forward to hearing from you when you are ready to get your car balanced and aligned.

it is nice to have that warm and fuzzy fealing knowing that Perfect Power is in your neighborhood. every time i pass the dealership on 41 i cringe thinking what it would be like to have to service my car there. after 10 years of porsche ownership and 10 years of dealing with sol, there is no way i would consider the first without the second.

on a side note, i have ridden in the '73 s. it is sooo sweet. it IS a 911 in the purest form. you big hp twin turbo boys would seriously reconsider your automotive priorities after one of sol's "test drives" in that thing.
