Welcome New Sponsor Perfect Power
Who happens to be in the Chicago Suburb area. Thank God.
Sol,
You did a fantastic job restoring my friend Mike's Butterscotch Porsche.... Please share some of those pics with us.
And Please tell Mike that Shank (orig from NY) says Hi, and to become a member.

Sol is a great car guy and Perfect Power is a fantastic addition to the sponsor list. Welcome and anyone needing Porsche tuning etc in Chicago Area, I can attest to Sol'd skills and recommend Perfect Power.

Hey Sol, WELCOME! I got the large rotors mounted in the front 18" wheels and it was a snap just like you said. Man are they beautiful. And talk about cross drilled, WOW. They are 1" bigger than stock but still use the same calipers. I didn't realize that even though they were bigger, they would be lighter than stock. What a bonus. I guess the aluminum hub makes the difference. Anyway, I'll get it on the track soon and report back. BTW, do you think you could check out the thread of mine asking for advice on suspension specs, I will get it back up front here and you can dazzle us with your knowledge. Thanks again.
Thanks
Thanks Ryan, Lou and James,
Those are kind words. I'll try to get pics of Mike's fabulous '73 S on the site tomorrow, maybe with other cool projects we've got going on at Perfect Power.
James, I'll check your other post now, if my son will wait to play catch for a few more minutes.

The '73 911 S came with a 2.4 liter MFI six, putting out what, 210hp, right?
What would the 2.7RS put out hp wise, 270?
That must be one fast Porsche, 1973 was a GREAT year for Porsche, lite-weight go-fast cars!

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the welcome. The RS had 210 hp the '73 911S was rated around 180hp. There is some confusion on the exact number since the SAE and DIN rating were both being tossed around back then by Porsche. Most people will tell you that the 180 number is closer to the truth.

Sol, I heard Mike might be selling it.
Guys, this 73 Porsche had every single solitary screw replaced with new parts. Mike showed me some hard copy pictures a few years ago in NY. Simply gorgeous.
