No garage queen

This is why I can't bring myself to buy another Ferrari, Lamborghini, or more "exotic" sports car - how many "major services" would a Ferrari 360 need to get to 140,000 KM?? Alot.

I have no idea how the guys with low miles do it, my turbo is not my daily drive and I still add up the miles like crazy.

I find it quite funny when friends are shocked that I use my 996tt as a daily driver. Why wouldn't I? I don't think it will be seeing snow tires though...

i always use my gt2/3's as daily drivers.

Pierre is a great guy i know him well from rennteam and flat 6. he pounds that thing and only one minor service issue.

Porsches are made to be driven and made to last, unlike other sports cars. the best

Not really. 360's require a major service (cam belts, all fluids etc.) every 3 years or 30,000 miles and, unlike the 355, the engine doesn't have to come out for a major service.

true, but the 360 "minor" service is about equivalent to the 996TT "major" one, no?

I think it's about triple the Porsche major one. Forgot, the belts on the 360 through the interior of the car. Still, I think it's a $3,500-$4,000 job, and if you treated the 360 as Pierre does his TT, the engine (belts) likely would grenade way before 30,000 miles.

Nothing against 360's, feel free to tell me to shut up and go buy an Acura NSX if I want cheap maintenance (although my last one blew through a set of tires in about 2500 miles)

I would never tell you to shut up. If everyone wanted to buy a 360, the waiting list would be more ridiculous than it already is.
