996 Turbo / GT2 Turbo discussion on previous model 2000-2005 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and 911 GT2.

Will a 996 TT w/ Fabspeed bypass pipes sound like a 996 GT3 with the same setup?

Now that is not for everyone. If your car is a daily driver and you are living in a picky gated community with old farts as neighbors, well may not work out.
I have driven the car like that to tracks hundreds of miles away, radio on and still able to carry on a conversation.
My 2 cents.....pm or call me if you really want to know more.

My thoughts exactly, I have been running straight pipes for the past month and I think they sound awesome! I dont think my neighbors enjoy my pipes as much though. No more friendly waves from them as I drive by

I love the sound and so do my car buddies but my GF HATES the sound and drone.

I think Tom, and Tommy knows exactly what I want. I really don't care that much about the neighbors (will obviously try to roll in at neutral if late at night) I obviously would love it if the car is loud all the time. My friend's GT3, I can seriously hear from 2 blocks away, man I love that sound.....

Check out 6speeder "rahul" in the for sale section.
He has a PSI loud exhaust for sale (it was on my car)...the best sounding and loudest 996TT exhaust I've heard.

I have a custom turboexhaust.com Ver 8.0 exhaust...it is nice and loud (louder than the FabSpeed SuperSport) I love it and my neighbors are coming to terms...I think they like the car more than the exhaust! LMAO!!!!

Mike

p.s. I don't know if the guy is still producing it...I'll look around though...
