Speaking of air filters, I put in a BMC today. Stripped the threads for the bolt that holds the airbox down. Almost seems like the wrong type of bolt was used for this application and I'm guessing this is a fairly common thing to happen. Do you guys strip that thing trying to get it back in? I massaged it through from the bottom to straighten out the threads and finally got it back together, but a 15 minute job turned into an hour. Seems like a regular machine bolt would work better no?

Evo charges 100 dollars for a K&N air filter that I can buy locally for 40 bucks. I'd imagine it's closer to 30 from most other resellers.
