Are 997TT 6 pot calipers a direct bolt on to 996TT mounting brackets?

Title corrected. Hard to believe but the 997 Ceramic 6 piston calipers that fit 380mm rotors ($700) are almost $200 less each than the 996 GT2 6 piston calipers at Suncoast. I'm looking to put these on my Corvette with some BIG rotors. Mov'it makes a Corvette adapter bracket for 996TT calipers, but Suncoast couldn't tell me if they'd work with the 997 Ceramic 6 pots.

Anyone upgrade their setup to these mammoth calipers/rotors?

Where exactly are you getting the brake system on the 997 Turbo for $200 less than the GT2 system? Isn't the caliper the same?

Hey Scott. Funny meeting you here. I've got to get this idea of big Porsche brakes on my Chevy POS. I just can't keep the memory of a 997 GT3 constantly outbraking me all over ths track at Sebring. Good thing he had less hp. After a few laps I let him go by only for him to spin out a half lap later with me on his tail. It's much easier to follow than to lead.

Next event will be a little different with big brakes and coilovers.

Exactly why I wanted a Porsche and Chevy track day. Love the matchups, but of course, no racing .
