I have reason to believe the AWE turbo aero front lip is simply the Urethane one that Mashaw manufactures and sells. Anyone know for sure if this is true?

If so, is there any compelling reason to pay the $200 mark up @ AWE?

I spoke with Mashaw back in May and they told me they get theirs from the same place Porsche does in germany, they didn't have any in stock and were waiting for some to arrive. As of yet they have not contacted me that they recieved more. I did not ask about AWE but initially was wondering the same thing.

If AWE actually makes this part I wonder if they would do a group buy.

I'm going to try to give Mashaw a call this week to see how their stock is looking.

That'd be awesome if AWE did a group buy on it. I'd love to buy it from them, but I'm just not sure I want to pay the mark up if it's the same part...

Yeah..that's just what I was told, but since I haven't found any other confirmation of it, I'm not sure what to believe.

If you heard nothing about that, then I'd easily believe it was just a bad rumor.
