it was a viper that did the 4.6... I believe he was on full slicks... It probably used one less shifts thus the 4.6...

Any idea whos? 4.6 on slicks is pathetic, I believe a couple guys are in the 4's at 150+ in the 1/8th.

i wasn't there, but it was the 60-130 not in the 1/8th, i think it is roofs old car

Im on MT street tires... if he did 2 shifts then we can compare it to mine... if he did one shift then he has anywhere form .2 to .4 seconds on me...
my point is that cars with 8.7 L motors and a set of garrett turbos are doing 4.6s and we are now in the 4.7s... not bad for a 3.6 L motor....

ps. it all comes down to how hard you want to run the car( b4 it goes KABOOM).

It was Stacey Barnett in his yellow '01 GTS. He did it during the 60-130 event at this year's Supra meet, and got the fastest time overall. He ran 4.6 on slicks with 1 shift, with 1,200 rwhp (low-boost). His run (both in-car and out-car shots) is on the DVD.

Bob Helms got the 2nd best time with a 4.8 run in his 900 rwhp Supra on Drag Radials.

One *very* lazy shift. His one shift on that run took as much time as two of mine. Seriously. His car at low boost (1,200 rwhp) with a fast shift would be a 4.2 car, no problem. At high-boost (1,500 rwhp)...it'd hit 3's.

Not sure if was 4.6 flat. They just said "4.6".
