Car Wash keeps charging my cards!

I used to go to a place call US1 Finest Car Wash in Miami but I haven't been there since January. In fact, they have been closed for months.

Somehowe they continue to charge me $35 a month on different cards on different months. I called them but obviously you get no response because they no longer exist. I keep denying the charges but it's getting old fast.

Anyone have experience with this? What the heck can I do to stop them from charging me?

call your credit card company, they can block it.

Yeah, BOA would block it so I changed my card which is a pain in the ***. amex of course took care of it without any trouble.

I tried. Unfortunately I live in Miami so there is a pretty low priority on this stuff.

In fact, I figured they were probably doing this to a lot of people so I called the police and the operator transferred my to robbery but it rings forever and nobody answers.

I guess I'm not ticked because they are probably overworked on serious cases where this is easily solved through the cc companies.

It's a pain but just report the card as lost or stolen and get a replacement card.
