Kid GT2 is infamous around these parts
Have a quick question...

Recently while driving the GT2, (before it broke) I kept hearing a ticking sound coming from the left rear wheel well. It is just a tic...tic...tic, as if something was stuck in my tire, except very loud. We checked the tire and couldn't find anything. I was hoping someone on hear might be able to shed some light on it for me. Thanks in advance.

Could be you have a loose lug and what you hear is "fretting" between the 2 metal surfaces of the wheel and the lug. Not uncommon with aluminum or magnesium wheels.

The hubcaps on my Caddy do it in the morning until they warm up and plant themselves into place.

Do you notice if its when you're engaging the clutch in first gear. This would be normal.

When we pulled the car home the night it broke it was in nutral with the motor off and it was making the tic noise so it has nothing to do with the clutch or motor

99% sure it's the wheels then. Tighten the lugs and I'll bet it goes away.
