Alex,
yeah I already got settled in, however I'm only back here for 1 week. Will be flying back to NYC tomorrow. I'm coming back on the 28th of Aug.
I have scheduled intercity to ship my car up in early Sep and I'll bring it over when it's here.

seems like we've got enough pieces to get it moving, however i'll still need to find out the price first.

thanks wross for the measurement.
i'll let you guys know once i find out.
here are the pics he sent me for the m3 and bike. dunno how to tell the quality, but i think they look alright.

the pieces are carbon over fiber glass, however i assumed we want it made of straight carbon.

OK..some estimated measures:

length of lip=60.5"
width of lip(at center)=6.375"
lip drop=1.5" (this is from a point 5.5" from back radius)

If you have a sketch or print I can add dimensions. There is the outside radius and an inside radius with 2 cutouts, total of 9 through holes (for attachment) and 2 additional holes. The lip does angle down from the car...I did not get an exact measure on this.

here is a quick sketch:

depending on price I would be interested. For me they are disposable pieces so I don't want to sink much into them

Luting, is it worth starting thread in Group Buy section, just to get solid orders/amounts?

maybe put an aluminum "scraper" on bottom so the ground would hit aluminum before CF?

I'll start a group-buy thread once the price is confirmed and if everyone is interested.
I doubt adding the aluminum will be cost effective since it involved additional work will for sure jack up the price.

a rough count should be 10+ piece already, adding my 3-4... should be enough to get this thing going.

Thanx for the scratch, that's good enough.

I'd like to see some more pics of this lip on a 996TT. Anything else needed or does this bolt on to the stock bumper? I should be in for 1 or 2.

If it's a direct bolt-on, I'm in for 2.
