Orton ECU vs Stock?

I am considering the purchase of a car where the Orton ECU can be left in or swapped with the stock...I dont think there is much (if any) cost delta. This being said, should I go with stock or mod? I admit, I have almost no familiarity with ECU mod for this car

Stock : May be better for resale? Easier on engine? Less risk of damage?

Mod : Better power, is this one of the early mods and good bang for the buck? Can is present problems with warranties?

I think the car will be plenty for me stock...but am willing to take a chance on the ECU provided its not too risky from damage and warranty standpoint. THanks.

Keep the orton ecu...that's what I have, over 2 years of flawless performance ! Drive a stock one and you'll never go back

Why not both? Stock ECU is cheap.
