Does inflatable spare fit over the rear Brembo Big Brakes

I have the upgraded Brembo brakes (Red not Gold) in the front and rear of my car. They consist of the 15 inch front rotors with 8 piston calipers and 14 inch rear rotors with 4 piston calipers. I know the inflatable spare doesn't fit the front setup but does anyone know if it fits over the rear? If it fits the rear I would obviously keep it in the car. If it doesn't, I may as well save the extra weight by eliminating it.

Obviously I could try it but it is easier to type the question if someone knows this already.

Anyone?

TCM is infamous around these parts
Ken:

I do not think it clears the caliper on the rear either. That being said, I think you should keep it in the car. I know on the BMW e36 M3 that the spare tire was actually used as an impact point in a collision. Many people took their spares out to save weight and got a lot more damage from accidents then people who had the spare in there. I am not sure if Porsche used the same mentality with the 996, but it is always better to be safe then sorry.

Isn't the GT2 the same chassis? I don't believe it has a spare.
