Springs will make the appearance of the car but will most likely be worse than the stock springs in terms of being soft and body roll etc. To me, if you are only driving on the street, who cares?

I have had springs before too but never felt the stock suspension, they felt fine to me, I never used them on track but since you arent going to do tracking then that doesnt matter.

NO TRACK = GET SPRINGS and save thousands.

In fact, I have some H&R's you can have for 150 to try and if you dont like them no big $ lost.

An opposing view...even though you are not going to track, there will be times when you will want/need to be able to handle a situation (that you may have gotten yourself into). After all you are in a turbo and you can get to the edge quite quickly. I suggest something like PSS9 coilovers as they are a smoother ride than stock, lower the car about 1" and still handle sufficiently.

Get coils, its better to spend the money now then to spend on bigger repairs later down the road

What do you guys think of the X73 suspension? I got H&R's on mine and the rear seems to be sitting lower then the front. The car just doesn't feel right ( I guess the rear is sagging?

I need to get something new but I can't decide....

Bigger repairs like what? Nothing wrong with coils, coilovers do fail though. then he has to worry about the bump stop issue if he buys PSS9's though realisticly a used set of Pss9's is prolly the best option.

Nothing wrong with springs, they wont hurt your car, and coilovers wont save your life.

I have JIC Cross coilovers and the car looks and handles much better. Much stiffer as well, so ride is a bit rough compared to stock.
