Hanging out in the garage pits on Sun was quite a treat, made special with a talk to Mr. Snodgrass of Brumos. I was introduced by fellow 6er Jax03C4S. I also saw Seinfeld, a bunch of pro drivers (JCFrance, DBell, Jackie Icks, Sasha Maassen, and the alum from PDE and talked with them: Hurley Haywood, David Murry, and Doc Bundy.) One of the clear highlights was watching Sasha in a C-GT drive past many good drivers in some awesome prototype cars on Friday. You have to hear/see that car in person. Also, a silver GT-1 street, a yellow (almost street) GT-1 and two racing GT-1 with full colors was particularly inspiring. Sorry I missed the gathering on Fri am at Home Depot. My friends couldn't wait any longer than 09:12. how about at Sat night dinner when one of the four Porsche racing fathers confessed to driving a Lexus?! I guess he is old and with arthritis. Even the inventor of the racing turbo (waste gates) does not have a turbo b/c "they are too expensive." SPEED filmed all three days and it will air around July 5 as a one hour show.
