Met Steve Beddor who owns and races a Ruf CTR-2...the car is street legal and passes emissions in Minnesota !!!! The car was passing everything in its class, and regularly spanks the ferraris at F-car events !

Class guy !

I was invited to a dinner hosted by Alois and Estonia Ruf. It was great to meet fellow enthusiasts and be treated to the preview of the new RGT RS...400hp, normally aspirated, neat duck bill rear wing ! The dinner ended with a preview of the new faszcination video (?sp) which shows a Ruf R Turbo being driven to the limit complete with 4 wheel drifting !

We saw that car leaving the track Saturday. What a beautiful machine. I wish we could have stopped the driver and taken a closer look.

Adam,

the RGT RS launch was absolutely packed ! Both Estonia and Alois were present of course and you were right about Estonia, absolute class personified. Following copious rounds of pilsner beer, dinner was served and new friends made. Alois made the rounds and after dinner the new R Turbo movie was shown

Quite amazing stuff really.

The RGT RS was mexico blue over cloth sport seats....Asgar Virji drove it up from Miami, and said that after 4000-5000 rpm, the car just comes alive...he was very impressed.

The event was very well attended and in keeping with my experiences with Ruf to date, a class act.

You should have seen the CTR 2 as it was raced by Steve Beddor on Friday (practice)....cutting through the field like butter !!!
