I totally agee. Love it from a design and concept but if they can"t make it drivable then who cares? Then again... if they can get the speed, then perhaps there's some street designs that can come from it...

A tuner that can take a P car and duplicate performance packages and break records is my kind of Tuner. I bet that most of our tuned cars would spank those overseas in most of the the performance areas ... they may have an edge, however, on enduro racing where 8K RPMs for prolonged periods of time is required....

Geez! Everybody is a friggin critic. I find it amazing how a massive project like this gets dismissed so quickly because the wheels are ugly or whatever. Looks are secondary when trying to set records. Aren't y'all glad to see people, companies, and manufacturers push the limits? But FWIW, I think it's pretty ugly in the first pics but like the shots of it at the show. Their convertible went 381kph? That's about 240mph. Yikes, no thank you sir.
The wood looks like a under car plank which is perfectly appropriate material to use. Formula 1 cars, Indy cars and Champ cars all have wood under car planks. They are a requirement (in the rules) to measure how low the cars get...too much plank worn away and you get DQ'd.
