With the PCCB, are the pads made out of the same material as the disc?

Dock,
The material is different than the rotors. There are 3 different types of pads available for the PCCB. From what info I can gather, Porsche is using the same pads that are on the GT2 and GT3 steel rotors.

So the pad choices available are not "ceramic"?

There maybe some ceramic qualities to the pads, but they are not exactly the same. The pads work great on steel rotors, they seem to bite as well if not better as the Pagid oranges, but are easy on the rotors. Compared to the oranges they are also quiet. I hope they will be offering this type of pad compund for the standard steel rotors.
