There is a Chicago group of bmw'seeting at the Ram Brewery Sat morning around 11:00. After some playing.......a bunch are caravaning to Grand Rapids. Most are staying the night. Maybe just meet up with us and cruise up.

If I knew about it a bit sooner, I would have switched my plans around and gone up to this instead. Oh well, there is always next year!
*Last year on my way to Terra Haute, Indiana, we had a small group going, and I was the lead car... I speed... so we were FAR gone from the other cars. Well, we finally show up to Terra Haute, and I call my one friend, and he said he should be there soon, he was on 94. I'm thinking to myself, you are STILL on 94? And I ask him to look for a city sign of some sort... Well the next sign he passed was, "Welcome to Sawyer, MI." Needless to say, he was pissed that he got lost and everyone else was sleeping in his car.
I guess you missed this post I made 8 DAYS AGO!

Although, if I knew like 8 months in advance, I would have changed my plans... This once a year trip to TH, Indiana is planned well in advance.

Trust me, it'll be worth your time to come over. It should be a VERY CLOSE run that we'll video for the peanut gallery to comments on afterwards

I think a lot of FI people are surpised when a lower hp NA car keeps up with them. I know my brothers car on motor has ran down 600-650rwhp cars and left the owners looking like

My humble experience has been that if you have a Porsche without
an inflated dyno number, it will fare very favorably with the V-8 stuff.
In other words, I cannot find ANY 620 RWHP cars close to mine (except)
S-351's GT2 (which has unknown horsepower).

Why don't some of you come to G.R.
We have a ton of cars and bikes all of which love to play. Everything from 500rwhp Busa's to 1400 hp Camaro's, 800 hp BMW's to 600 hp Talons, 600 hp Galants, 700 hp G35's...ect.
All of them are in the same group...they come out on the same two nights... there doesn't have to be any planning...or any special event.... just let us know when you'll be here..and either Buddy or myself can meet you and take you to the spot. There you can see some breath taking cars with ubsurd amounts of power. Everything from 7 sec. street cars to 8 sec street bikes.
Its a cool vibe and all races are friendly. Rarely is there an actual money race. Its all in good spirit.
