I went for a ride in my dads friends Sl600..3 words, oh my god... I thought my brothers GT2 was fast.. this car had more torque than anything i have ever been in....I almost lost my lunch when he floored it. I could feel the sushi I ate twisting in my stomach..never the less its an amazing car..but needs a bit of suspension tweeking. I can only imagine what the sl65 amg is going to be like.!

 

Very nice Michael. I am assuming the car was floaty and uninvolving at speed? The new Mercedes seem to have too much power for their chasis IMHO. The E55 cannot seem to come to grips with its power when in turns even when lowered and with new wheels. I am glad to see manufactuers producing some power, but they need to upgrade everything else along with it.

 

I drove the CL65 last week. The eninge is very impressive, but the ride is so so.
