Wife on Solo Run

My wife just left in her first solo run in my car. I'm nervous...

Any of you dudes let your lady out for solo missions?

Mike

Damn i would be worried. This guy let his wife bring his diablo 6 liter to my school to pick up their son, and she stalled 3 times in the parking lot, when she backed up she revved the car to about 4k RPMs. Any way to make a long story short by the time she left the parking lot wreaked of burnt clutch, and my friends and i were in tears.

of course, what fun would it be if they didn't enjoy it. Luckily I have a girl that has the bug and turns a wrench too

she's driven this thing to Costco more then once

i'm also cool with it cause I have a mom that is a car nut too. She drives her C5 daily and like a maniac (and gives my dad **** about getting her an automatic frequently)

I'll never forget when my bro got his boxster S, my mom pulled out of the driveway w/ a big fishtail and came back drifting around the corner. It was great, I had 2 friends there that just dropped jaw.

She made it back! She drove a civic for years prior to us getting married, so she's pretty good with a standard ( I was going to say stick, but that might have been taken the wrong way ). But thank god, she doesn't like the 640 HP!

Cool

I encourage my Wife to take my car on her Saturday morning weekly trip to see her Mother. It's a 22 mile highway drive and she loves it. Usually hits 120 to 130.
When we sometimes meet running errands etc., I switch cars with her so I can enjoy seeing my car on the road. It gives me a great visual sense of what I'm driving around in every day. I love that!
Ciao
